Fees for Counseling
Straight Talk, Inc. has a sliding scale fee ranging from $25/session to $95/session based upon a person’s ability to pay. The fee is set at the initial intake interview session. The intake interview is a $25 flat fee. Each session after the intake interview will be paid at the agreed rate. Straight Talk does accept some insurance plans and will discuss the pros and cons associated with using your insurance.

Intake Interview
This is an opportunity for you and the therapist to discuss your goals, the benefits and limits of therapy, pervious experiences and relevant history surrounding the identified problem, and your hopes and expectations of treatment.  Click here for Intake Form.

Length of Therapy
The length of therapy depends upon the client’s goals, the type of treatment agreed upon, and the issues that are addressed in the weekly sessions. You may benefit from short-term counseling to deal with a specific event in your life, such as the loss of a loved one, loss of job, or a traumatic event. Or, depending on the circumstances, you may benefit from on-going therapy due to recurrent stressors in your life. You and your therapist will review your needs and treatment goals periodically to ensure progress.
